Prena's Mission: Safeguarding infants by reducing the numbers of tragedies associated with preterm birth
"There's no tragedy in life like the death of a child. Things never get back to the way they were."
- President Dwight David Eisenhower

The Impact of Time
The time that a fetus spends in its mother's womb is critical to its survival. At 23 weeks of gestational age a fetus has only a 30% chance of survival. The odds of survival increase by 4% per additional day that the fetus remains in the womb through the second trimester and 1-2% thereafter.
